WHY

For me, being together outside provides an experience of relationship within
therapy, movement and nature, that can allow the witnessing of your feelings to be deeply enhanced.

If you need someone to walk together with you in life at the moment, I can offer you honest acceptance at a pace that will suit you.

The person centred approach that this counselling is rooted in, is anchored in the belief that, through being accurately understood and honestly accepted, the healing that is already waiting to occur from within you can emerge. I can accompany you in this process and when it’s useful to do so I may integrate other types of counselling.
I have grown to trust movement, step by step over a variety of terrains; in the dark, emerging into light, rising through fog, experiencing movement over ground, noticing a constant breath through landscapes that seem to go on and on. Sometimes I can’t carry on anymore and then around the next bend something new, perhaps a rest, or maybe a change.
Stepping forwards together can be reassuring and bring a sense of equality to our relationship.

Held as we are within the diverse landscape of Cornwall, in the stillness of a wood or in a wind, by a lake or beside a hedge, in a valley, then on a hill, next to an ever changing sea or in a building, I can provide a safe environment that is suitable for you. You can tell me how life is at the moment and I'll be with you, to help you in your direction.

life can be tough, yet as we accept our experience, through being together, and being honest,  the healing and answers begin to emerge within ourselves.
